THOUGHTS WHILE StARING AT A WALL

what is it about our human particularalities (what a word...! that one's good, even if it's not real) that makes us not want to take the first stall in the bathroom? finish off the peanut butter? stuff like that. i mean, someone's got to do it, right? why don't most of us want to be that person. the last cheese danish is there at a party... if noone eats it it will got to waste. just take it! i guess it's similar to the mentality that ends up with people killed coz noone would help. idunno, where does this idea/mentality/particularality come from? until then---

see...I think it's funny that people assume no God and survival of the fittest because, if that were true, it would be in our nature to say "screw you" and grab that last pastry. Obviously there is something inborn in us humans that makes us feel the need to allow others a chance. Seriously, if I don't have the pastry, and I let some other guy have it, it's not like he deserved it more than I did, yet I would feel good about myself having let him have it. Eh, just something to think about.

i like that! Though what i was orignially going to post was that most of the time i have no problem taking the last of anything at a party. i guess i'm self-serving and inconsiderate. i'm not sure if i would take the last cheese danish though...what is that?
